Camping World Manager, HR Program Management and Governance in Chicago, Illinois

Camping World is seeking a Full-Time Manager, Program Management & Governance to be responsible to track activity and communicate progress on a portfolio of programs under Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning & Development. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Management and Employee Experience, this person will work a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in our Chicago, IL or Lincolnshire, IL office.
What You'll Do Program Management and Coordination:
Inform and support the development of the talent team’s strategic initiatives and roadmap.
Treat each strategic initiative as a product, partnering with owner and executive sponsor through the lifecycle from conception to development, launch, and iteration.
Working with the Director(s) and team members, establish clear objectives, deliverables, and timelines for each initiative. Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring all team members meet their deadlines and milestones.
Partner with Director(s) to balance competing priorities, establishing the framework to identify, and ultimately solve for, bottlenecks and blockers.
Act as strategic partner for product owners to drive deliverables through cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization, joining and supporting project teams as needed.
Ensure smooth execution of projects and programs, managing expectations and keeping all stakeholders appropriately informed.
Governance and Compliance:
Build and maintain a shared calendar across HR, ensuring prioritization of key projects
Coordinate program deployment to client groups, ensuring bandwidth to absorb.
Document and track to key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to measure the success of each program and product, tracking their effectiveness over time (e.g., engagement, completion rates, user satisfaction, retention, etc.)
Establish and maintain relations with the corporate PMO team, keeping them apprised of new initiatives and bringing them into key projects where needed.
Ensuring relevant projects all clear requirements with IT, InfoSec, and other reviewing bodies.
Ensure each talent portfolio product has adhered to best practices for change management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
Stakeholder Communication and Management:
Establish a set of tools, dashboards, and reports to equip Director(s) & Leadership with the information needed for conversations with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment within the HR function and with key stakeholders outside of HR.
Liaise between the team members and leaders, ensuring that updates, concerns, and achievements are communicated effectively, helping to focus leaders on key decisions and strategic efforts.
Partner closely with HR, leadership, and other departments to align product offerings with broader organizational needs and priorities.
Act as a product evangelist within the organization, promoting the value of employee programs to leadership and key stakeholders.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when required, negotiating terms of service, statements of work, and ensuring services are aligned with project goals.
Process Improvement and Sustainability:
Create and maintain projects through our project management software, Asana.
Enhance and/or create supporting tools including proposal frameworks, project summaries, stakeholder assessments, change management toolkits, and after-action assessments.
Create formal project team management practices including clear communication of expectations through project charters, and individual accountability via formal goals.

Ensure consistent on-time delivery of projects, resolving bottlenecks and blockers efficiently.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of Talent Management & HR programs.
Establish sustainable processes, ensuring high-quality delivery and scalability for future needs.
What You'll Need To Have For The Role:
Bachelor’s degree required with an advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Change, Project Management, or other related fields preferred.
7+ years of experience in Human Capital or Talent Management teams
5+ years of experience managing programs, projects, or product delivery.
Strong attention to detail
Judgement in the ability to prioritize across multiple tasks
Demonstrates agility and the ability to shift as business needs change
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Up to 10% travel may be required.

Pay Range:
$108,360.00-$162,540.00 Annual
