Camping World and Good Sam Call Center Product Technical Assistant (FT) in Greenville, North Carolina

The Contact Center Overton's/Gander Outdoors Product Specialist provides product support for internal associates and customers through the phone, mail and live chat features regarding our marine product line. They will assist customers with product selection and answer technical questions regarding our marine product line. Candidate must have experience in boating and watersports and/or firearms to be considered for this position.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Answering detailed product related questions for customer via phone, email and chat.

  • Assist in locating specific products to satisfy customer needs.

  • Teaching product knowledge classes as needed.

  • Communicating with vendors and buyers concerning product information and new products.

  • Process orders for customers, including those with firearms to be shipped to stores and independent FFLs.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Various special projects, as assigned.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.



  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Years of Experience:

  • 1 years' experience of inbound contact center experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven coaching, development and mentoring skills.

  • Responsive performer comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to speak, read and write in English is required.

  • Boating and water sports knowledge.

  • Recreational boating, wakeboarding and water skiing experience preferred.

  • Evening and night shifts available.
