The IT Business Analyst/Product Owner, Good Sam Loyalty is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and implementation of software applications within the Good Sam Loyalty program. This includes leading the development and execution of the business applications strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality loyalty program applications that meet the needs of the business, and managing the team of business analysts, developers, and testers. Collaborate with various departments to identify their specific software needs and ensure that the applications align with the company’s overall goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements.

  • Develop and maintain requirements documentation.

  • Work with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

  • Translate requirements into technical specifications.

  • Manage the implementation of technical specifications.

  • Track and report on project progress.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product development and project management (preferably agile)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, Jira, and collaboration tools

  • Experience with business analysis tools and techniques

  • Experience with loyalty programs is highly desired
