Camping World is currently hiring a Media Buyer to join our media services team with a focus on TV and Radio purchasing for our nationwide network of locations.
The ideal candidate will be an effective negotiator, critical thinker and able to establish trust and build rapport with station reps and our in-house marketing team. If you're knowledgeable about the current TV and Radio marketplace and advertising options, we'd like to meet you.
The primary goal will be to optimize ad exposure and provide top-tier campaigns while staying within budgets.
Develop effective media buying strategies while establishing and strengthening media vendor partnerships
Negotiates and documents rates and added value of all TV and radio buys using Strata Media Buying software
Monitoring of proof-of-performance reports and negotiate make goods with local media reps
Partner with in-house Marketing Account Managers to identify flight goals and objectives, and provide campaign details
Clearly and accurately communicates orders and changes to RFPs to TV and radio stations
Adhering to established media budgets and timelines
3+ years of experience as a media buyer working at a media agency
Knowledge and experience of the local TV and Radio marketplace
Clear understanding of the media buying process and all related metrics (Ratings, Share, Reach, CPP, CPM, etc.)
Strong negotiating, communications, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to handle several projects at once
Must be self-motivated and very attentive to detail
Familiarity with Strata Media Buying software is a plus
