Camping World Database Coordinator in Oxnard, California

Good Sam is now hiring a Database Coordinator to be based in our Oxnard, CA office.


To coordinate, report, analyze and validate all data associated with the digital & print products and analytics for Good Sam website, mobile app & print publications. Includes ad sales support, editorial and advertising data gathering and helps facilitate electronic publishing by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with Systems Analyst and Business Manager to coordinate efficient and accurate data workflows and data integrity.

  • Validates data, based on multiple parameters.

  • Works with Systems Analyst to test & validate multiple data points in databases, documents errors and coordinates solutions to resolve changes to data to ensure information is presented accurately and as specified.

  • Works with Systems Analyst and Business Manager to test & validate digital, print and mobile app data, documents errors and coordinates solutions to resolve changes to data to ensure information is presented accurately and as specified.

  • Provides ongoing administrative support for database & sales systems.

  • Maintains and updates searches, forms and reports associated with databases.

  • Uses report parameters to extract information in specified format.

  • Pulls and reports monthly database statistics for multiple platforms.

  • Maintains the knowledge base in all aspects of databases used in division.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with relational databases

  • Proficient in structured Query Language (SQL) both SQL server & MS Access

  • Advanced Excel knowledge

  • Advanced MS Access knowledge

  • Proven experience in working with a variety of different databases & file types

  • Attention to detail, applies checks and balances in validating and identifying patterns & anomalies

  • HTML/XML knowledge

  • Proficient in Google Analytics

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Proven experience in project & time management

  • Strong communication skills
